The world ends with you.
Someone once talked to me about death. That someone made me think about it. That very last moment of our life. It’s numbing thinking about your existence just ending. In a flash it’s gone, away from this life. Some say you move on to another world, others say you are judged from your mortal deeds. There are many perspectives yet I still find the bleakest to be that when you die, you cease to exist. In a sense, the world ends with you.
I shouldn’t be alive. I should’ve been crushed by a train three times, run over a car once, fallen off a cliff, drowned in the sea, died from a longboard crash or never even been born. Yet for all those times, someone/something pulled me through. In our darkest moments, there lies hope. A radiant savior to guide through the darkness, our only salvation.
Death is an enigma to me. I have not yet felt it’s cold touch of agony, sorrow and despair. However death is a glimpse at life. For where life is taken, another is given. Life and death is a cycle that are the same. Life is death. To die is to live and to live is to die.
I thought about it when that someone asked me about death. I sat there thinking about it. For a moment, I was an old man, my future children sitting around me. My wife’s picture in my hand. In that instant, I felt death hold me. It was startling. Like a waking dream, I stood there, watching myself die. The thought of ending, it swallowed me. I breathed again and knew it was just a dream.
Yet it made me think about the very nature of death. We can never truly say what lies beyond this life. However I do know that each of us are special. We are life. Life before death and then life again. Hope will bring us through. It is not an illusion, this is your life, lead it with your hands. Do not let it go, never let it slip. Make sure your life is what you want. Because in the end,
The world ends with you.

Life : Go now, go live, go grab your life back.
We have dreams and ambition.
We have life in us.
One day we will perform in front of thousands.
The road is long and hard.
One day we will perform in front of billions.
Many things will try to stop us.
But do we let them?
No.
One day we will perform for the world
and the world will move along to the rhythm of life.
We will succeed,
We will be better,
because it is in our nature.
One day our world will be a bright and beautiful place.
I have no doubt about that.
We must reach that place with love, passion and peace.
Not with hate, deceit and war.
No.
I see a world with green trees and crystalline buildings
I see a world that has advanced from petty squabbles to become majestic, to become whole.
One day we will touch the stars and we will leave our galaxy.
But that day is not today.
It will not be this day because we are not doing anything.
So go out,
go out and fulfill your dreams and your ambitions.
Make that day happen.
Because all it takes is a step.
We have life in us.
Do not waste it.
Go now,
go dream, go do, go succeed.
Nothing will stop us from trying.
We are human. We are powerful beyond measure. We are the impossible made possible.
